Following discussions with the The Jersey Motor Cycle & Light Car Club and Guernsey Motor Cycle & Car Club, the BARC - organisers of the British Hillclimb Championship presented by AVON Tyres - has made the difficult decision to cancel all four rounds due to take place in July at the popular Channel Islands venues Bouley Bay and Val de Terres. This has been due to the uncertainties regarding travel restrictions throughout the summer. It was concluded that an early decision would be beneficial to all competitors to help with planning for the 2021 season.
The Channel Island rounds have been an integral part of the championship for many years and always attract a good entry from mainland competitors. The BHC will be returning to these demanding closed-road courses, in their idyllic seafront settings, in July 2022.
Championship regulations and entry forms are available on our website for both the British Hillclimb Championship presented by Avon Tyres and for the BHC Cup presented by Footman James.
